DJ Meghan O’Neil

Meghan’s musician parents met while working in a record store so it’s no surprise that she has spent the last 15 plus years making music of her own. Born and raised in the Bay Area, she’s been involved in a number of music projects, most recently the critically acclaimed band Super Unison. Though her music career has been marked by punk rock and mosh pits, these days you're more likely to find her DJing and dancing to pop, new wave, and RnB. Meghan's ready to personalize your wedding soundtrack and charm your grandma. She counts touring in Japan and seeing both Prince and Van Morrison perform as her top 3 music related memories.

"My partner and I got married last month and made sure we had a wedding DJ who understood who we are and committed to making our special day fun and meaningful. We're so lucky we found Heart of Gold DJ and got to work with DJ Meghan O'Neil. She was very engaged right from our first meeting all throughout our correspondence. We got to work with her on an extensive and amazing playlist and she not only played songs we preferred, and took out songs we're not very excited about, she even included hard-to-find songs that we felt were special to us. We also had performers and she coordinated with them. Meghan was a sweetheart, super-nice and we can't recommend her highly enough. She arrived at the venue early, did her set-up, we had a quick check-in with her and our ceremony and reception flowed joyously from one awesome moment to another. Not a single false note, no dead air, no awkward moment. Everyone had a grand time and we received a lot of compliment for the great music. Heart of Gold DJ got everybody dancing and we thank them for making our big day one of the happiest days of our life."
